Do You Take Time Out To Relax?
Emptying my thoughts and slowing down.
Today’s blog is about taking time out of your busy schedule to plan, relax or just be silent. I find that after a busy morning of doing the school run I look forward to the time when I can sit quietly or be still with my thoughts or pray. For my own peace of mind I have scheduled in this time for several years now and it real sets me up for my day.
The night before I write down all the things I have to do the next day, because I found that I was forgetting to do important things. Also, being as I work from home, it is very important for me to plan my day. I stopped doing this for a while and my days would just go by and not only would I forget to do important things but I would often look back and think, “What have I done today?” Sad right? Well I think so anyway.
So let me let you in on a little secret of what else I do every day. Take a look at the video below. See if you can guess what I do.
Yes, that’s right, having a nice brisk walk through the park, preparing for another day.

Journey Your Way To Success
Well my decision to write this blog is based on my own personal experience. After several years of studying and having a business that I was building successfully earning a substantial income, that was taken away from me (might I had through no fault of my own) I had to start all over again. Now this was my only income. Previously before that I was building another business, and was offered funding to build that business but was told I needed to get someone else to share the funding with who also had a business specialising in mental health.
Now at the time I knew of no such person so I could not have the funding without this criteria. Now this made me feel so disappointed and discouraged I turned completed away from this because I needed to earn an income so decided to go into the online health business. Now I’ve mentioned in previous blogs why I decided to take this path, but for those of you who are not aware, I am a divorced parent and had to work around my children who were still very young at the time. This suited me because i could run my business online from home.
Now those of you who have a business knows it takes time to start a business and build a successful business. The important thing here is not to give up no matter what. Giving up is not an option for me. I will continue until I succeed.
The journey to success or your destiny will come with all sorts of obstacles, disappointments, challenges and those are just a few but the important thing is to stay focused and never give up.

Leaving 2016 Behind
As I looked at the colour leaves on the trees and the ground carpeted with fallen leaves. I enjoy walking through the park and hearing the sound of crisp leaves underneath my boots “crunching away”. I love the autumn because I am surrounded by rich colours of the leaves on the trees. What an absolutely beautiful sight.
I love this picturesque scene so much I had to capture the moment and treasure it. In a very busy world full of hustle and bustle we may miss this beautiful scene. So I thought I would share it with you. I hope you enjoy it!
We are also fast approaching the end of another year. Leaving 2016 all the negative emotions, thoughts and feelings leave them behind. Drop them off and leave them in 2016 as you can see the leaves have fallen of the trees do the same and walk into your destiny.

Never Underestimate the Power of Silence
Silence is Golden
I’ve heard the term/quote “silence is golden”
In our quiet time we can use that time to:
- speak to God
- meditate
- reflect
- plan
- re-align our thoughts
It’s a time of thoughts, feelings, letting go of the past. Past hurts and past feelings.
A time to reconnect whatever your faith. I use it to reconnect with my creator. To give thanks and appreciate all the things I have.
Mothers – may use it to plan their day, work commitments, family commitments – so many thoughts and feelings.
Feelings
So many thoughts and feelings surface. Some thoughts are of joy, some sorrow, some thoughts may even be of fear. Fear of the unknown. But when we re align our thoughts, surprisingly things often do not appear to be that bad. Some may often realise it’s ok, everything will work out just fine.
Some things we cannot change and some we can. If we use this time to focus on the things we can change and work on the things we can change, slowly but surely we can resurface. Our thoughts and ideas begin to flow, the excitement returns.
Goals can be written. In our quiet time, in our silence we can be creative. Come alive again to enjoy what we have – renewed joy, peace, happiness or contentment.

Never, never underestimate the power of silence. Recognise it, embrace it, accept it, enjoy it, be at peace in it….enjoy it.
Never underestimate the power of silence, it is where I can get to know who I am, my purpose in life.

An Overwhelming Experience
A feeling of overwhelming excitement came over me last week that I’m still getting over. Well it was a week ago I attended a Seminar. After getting stuck in traffic and getting anxious because this was an event I did not want to be late for. Anyway it so happened that I was 10 minutes late by the time I parked my car. Now some of you might be saying what’s the big deal 10 minutes is not that late but for this event I’m referring it was a big deal and you’ll see why in a minute.
I arrived at my destination and to my horror I could not even get to the door because there were so many people there already. Did I get in? No I did not because not only was the room packed but the hall was also packed with people waiting outside. Not even a queue outside but people were everywhere from wall to wall.
